The Hanakage (花影, “flower shadow”) petal dish brings the quiet beauty of cherry-blossom petals to the table. Hand-shaped into a six-petal form and fired at over 1,300 °C, it shows gentle ripples of colour—mist blue, moss green, blush pink, night indigo, and more—each one appearing slightly different as the glaze moves in the kiln.

The dish measures about 10 cm in diameter and 2 cm in height, making it just the right size for soy sauce, pickled ginger, sea-salt flakes, or a single wagashi sweet. The smooth porcelain surface resists stains and odours, and it is safe for both microwave and dishwasher use, although a light hand-wash keeps the glaze at its brightest.
